Although the week was short, it definitely wasn't any less busy! During Humanities, we continued Readers and Writers Workshops and also used some time to trouble shoot iPad problems and set up our Edmodo profiles. We are hopeful that students now know how to get their parents set up on a home computer and we can use this site as yet another means of communication. Grade 4's were also able to visit the library this week and choose a book in addition to their required non-fiction chapter book. In the coming weeks, we will also be focusing on spelling and introducing our Social Studies inquiry, which poses the question, "Does Alberta have its Own Unique Identity?"
Grade fours were definitely happy to walk to the Weaslehead Environmental area today at North Glenmore Park and learn some games in preparation for camp next week. We played "Evolution", "Heads and Tails", "Coyotes and Hares" and "Camouflage". It was a lovely way to end the week and we hope that our students are getting excited for camp over the next 2 weeks!
